Public Notice: 30-Day Comment Period for the Designation of the Local Workforce Development Board
The Central Oklahoma Workforce Innovation Board and the Western Oklahoma Workforce Development Board announce the commencement of a 30-day public comment period concerning the proposed designation of the local workforce board. Following discussions with local elected officials, an initial agreement has been reached to absorb the Western Oklahoma Workforce Development Board into the Central Oklahoma Workforce Innovation Board.
In accordance with this joint effort, we invite input from businesses, labor organizations, institutions of higher education, community-based organizations, and the public at-large. Your feedback is crucial in shaping the future of workforce development across the region.
Comments can be submitted via email to ashleysellers@cowib.org and the comment period will remain open until September 19, 2025. We encourage all stakeholders to participate and provide their perspectives on this important transition.
